“The primary objective of this course is to learn various methods of digital product ideation such as innovation brainstorming and visualization and to do so in ways.”
Teamwork was necessary for project management. We worked learned about Agile, Waterfall, Kanban, and XP. We ran a four-week sprint session via Zoom.
We read these texts:
Sprint, by Jake Knapp, John Zeratsky, and Braden Kowitz
Interactive Project Management: Pixels, People, and Process (Voices That Matter)
Design Thinking Workshop:
My group and I worked on a Design Thinking Workshop. We did lightning demos and mirror maps. The workshop pushed for collaborative teamwork.
Agile Thinking Methodologies Project:
My group and I researched the agile method, XP, Extreme Programming. We recorded a presentation about the advantages, disadvantages, uses, and comparisons to other agile methodologies.
Sprint Project
Instead of a traditional week-long sprint, my group and I ran a four-week sprint. Each sprint represented a single day within the traditional sprint week (“Monday” = “Week 1”). We read a chapter of Sprint each week. My group and I decided to run a sprint to re-design Netflix Party. We completed lighting demos and participated in ideation sessions.
Most importantly, we began our Capstone Project. We created a marketplace solely for UGA faculty, staff, and students.
